Description
V-Gard Protective Caps and Hats from MSA consist of a polyethylene shell and suspension system working together as a protection system. V-Gard head wear features advanced styling in either cap or hat styles, with the cap suspension available in standard (6 1/2 - 8) sizing. V-Gard Caps and Hats meet or exceed the applicable requirements for a Type I helmet (top impact) as outlined in ANSI Z89.1 1997,Class E and G.
Caution:- MSA’s Vanguard Type II protective helmets are so designed and must be used if lateral protection is desired
- Do not mix suspension and helmet size. Make sure the sizes match use only MSA suspensions on an MSA caps or hats. Failure to comply will reduce the energy-absorbing ability of the protective hat or cap.
- Use only MSA suspensions on an MSA helmet. Failure to comply with the above will reduce the energy-absorbing ability of the protective helmet, which can result in serious injury or death
- V-Gard Caps and Hats are not specifically designed to protect against lateral blows from the front, side, or rear
- Meet or exceed the applicable requirements for a Type I helmet (top impact) as outlined in ANSI Z89.1 1997,Class E and G
