Industrial Scientific T40 Rattler Gas Monitor designed to protect personnel from dangerous carbon monoxide gas exposure in the most utmost conditions. Low-cost, maintenance free single gas monitor includes a large, liquid crystal display, simple push-button operation, internal vibrating and audible/visual alarms. 3.375" X 2.3" X 3/4" Gas monitor continuously displays ambient CO or H2S readings in ppm and will alert the user when gas concentrations exceed the preset low or high levels. Gas monitor with alarms at 10/20 ppm contain adjustable alarm set points, calibration gas values and choice of text only display selected by the user through a simple, push-button routine. The T40 rattler has a peak/hold for display the highest reading during a shift and contains a patented flip-cap calibration adapter for quick as well as simple calibration. T40 Rattler works for up to 1500 hrs on a single AA alkaline battery. Flip-cap calibration adapter included is used for quick and simple calibration. T40 Rattler is the most ATEX, UL, cUL, AUS approved single gas monitor available and is to help for verifying the units design integrity along with suitability for worldwide use. RFI protection feature eliminates "nuisance" alarms caused by cross interference from hand held radios, cell phones. T40 Rattler cannot be unintentionally shut off since the on/off button must be depressed for five continuous seconds. Carbon monoxide gas monitor features measuring range between 0 - 500 ppm in increments of 1 ppm and humidity 15 to 95% RH typical. Gas monitor has an operating temperature range between -20 to 50 deg C.
