- 3M™ DBI-SALA® Saflok™ Steel Carabineer consists of self-locking, self-closing gate for more security and safety. Carabineer with 1 3/16" gate opening features durable steel construction. Gate face of the carabineer can withstand a load of 3600 lb and is compatible with many connecting rings. Carabineer with a minimum tensile strength of 5000 lb meets all applicable industry standards like ANSI, OSHA and stringent ANSI Z359.
