3M™ Quantitative Fit Test Adapter is ideal for use on 3M™ facepieces 6000 series or 7000 series with bayonet style cartridge/filter holders. Respiratory protection system adapter is best suitable for demolition, facility maintenance, grinding, sanding, welding, health and safety testing operation. It finds wide range of application in automotive, construction, manufacturing, metal production, fabrication, military maintenance, mining, oil, gas, pharmaceutical, transportation, food and beverage manufacturing.
Features
- Use to conduct quantitative fit testing (QNFT) on 3M™ Reusable Respirators with certain sampling instruments, such as a TSI® PortaCount® Respirator Fit Tester
- Designed to be used with the 3M™ Half Facepieces 6000, 6500/6500QL and 7500 Series, and Full Facepieces 6000, FF-400 and 7800 Series.
- Quantitative fit testing is required to obtain an OSHA assigned protection factor (APF) of 50 for full facepieces in negative-pressure air-purifying mode
- Fit tests should be performed per OSHA Regulation 29 CFR 1910.134 - Appendix A
- Package contents: adapter, plastic tubing, suction cups, and a retainer clip
